About
After 7 years of living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I recently moved back to the Netherlands where I grew up.
When I moved from Amsterdam to San Francisco in 2017, I got introduced to the world of tech and UX/UI design as a profession. I love researching, problem-solving, art and design, and it turns out that UX/UI design is a perfect intersection between these things I’ve always had a big interest in.
I’m a very analytical person and I like to approach projects in a holistic way, taking into account the systems they’re part of. Collaboration and sharing knowledge with other people is what gives me a lot of energy, next to people telling me that a product works better than they could have dreamed!
To get a break from my screen, I started ceramics classes (wheel throwing and hand building). It’s been really fun to create things with my hands and to learn a new skill.
I’m pretty obsessed with coffee and trying out new specialty coffee places is a favorite weekend activity together with going on long walks with my dog Huckleberry.
